CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man has died after a crash Thursday morning, the Chesapeake Police Department said.
Police responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Bruce Road and Peppercorn Drive around 11:28 a.m. in the Western Branch area of the city. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle had veered off the road and hit a tree. The driver later identified as 22-year-old Rashad Hargis was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to officials, there was no indication of foul play. Chesapeake police are still investigating this incident.
