Chesapeake church hosting Angel Tree programs to give back to kids in need

A toy drive concert and the Angel Tree Program for Children of Incarcerated Parents are being hosted by Bethany Baptist Church in honor of the holiday season.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Bethany Baptist Church is presenting two events to give back to kids in need this season: a toy drive concert and the Angel Tree Program for Children of Incarcerated Parents.

The concert is taking place on December 8 at 7:00 p.m. and will feature The Gospel Legends, Chi & Company, and Ronica & the Blazing Stars. They are asking for at least one new toy in place of admission tickets. The toy drive is benefiting kids at Blessed Christian Home School, Georgetown Primary, and Thurgood Elementary School.

The concert will be located at the church at 2587 Campostella Road, Chesapeake, Virginia.

They are also collecting for the Angel Tree Corporation International which supplies gifts to children whose parents are incarcerated. It's just $30 to sponsor a child. You can go to the Bethany Baptist Church website to donate and choose where your donation is going.

If you have any questions you can find their email on their website or call at 757-543-5887.
