CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Two people are in the hospital with gunshot wounds after a shooting in the South Norfolk area of Chesapeake early Sunday morning.
The Chesapeake Police Department said they responded to the 2700 block of Campostella Road for a report of gunshots heard in the area around 2:05 a.m.
When police arrived, they found property damaged from bullets and then located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
Another gunshot victim was located a short time later at another hospital nearby.
Both of the victims are in stable condition.
Police didn't say what led to the shooting or share information about possible suspects.
