CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A Chesapeake shooting led to a man being transported to a hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened about 4:50 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of Border Road, according to the Chesapeake Police Department. The original call was for gunshots in the area, but officers received information that someone was shot while they were still on the way.
Officers located the shooting victim, 31-year-old Taquam Worsley of Chesapeake, and transported him to the hospital.
On Monday, police announced Worsley died as a result of his gunshot injuries.
