CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man reported missing out of Portsmouth was found safely, police announced Thursday.
Virginia State Police announced early Thursday morning that Jacob Donald Skeates, 20, was located.
The Chesapeake Police were searching for a missing autistic adult.
He was last seen wearing khaki pants, a maroon shirt, a white long-sleeved undershirt, and black high-top Nike shoes.
Skeates was last seen at 6 p.m. Wednesday at his house on Chesapeake Avenue.
He was presumed to be on foot. His disappearance posed a credible threat to his health and safety, law enforcement stated.
