CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Firefighters were able to quickly bring under control a Christmas Eve house fire in the Deep Creek section of Chesapeake.
Crews were called to the 1600 block of Plantation Drive, where they found smoke rising from the roof the home. The fire was brought under control shortly before 5 p.m.
There's no word on if any people have been displaced. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
