CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Chesapeake Fire Department responded to a fire early Wednesday morning.
Crews responded to a fire involving several structures in the 2800 block of Southport Avenue around 6:46 a.m. When firefighters arrived, they found flames coming from behind a house. The fire involved two sheds, a vehicle and a fence.
Firefighters stretched the hose to the backyard and extinguished the fire. At 6:59 a.m., it was under control.
No injuries were reported.
Fire investigators ruled the fire accidental.
