CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A Chesapeake man has been found safe after being missing since last week.

William Donald McCann II, 41, was considered critically missing by Virginia State Police and the Chesapeake Police Department.

He was last seen at 9:13 p.m. last night, Oct. 8, on Route 17 northbound, in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake.

He is described as being 5'9" and 180 lbs, with a bald or shaved head and blue eyes. Currently, there is no information on where he may have been headed, but Virginia State Police think he may be in a gray 2024 Honda Civic with Connecticut license plates of BM41500.
