MATHEWS, Va. — A Gloucester man is accused of breaking into apartments and groping women in Mathews County.
Deputies arrested 64-year-old James Gwynn on Friday, following a months-long investigation. He faces charges of felony breaking and entering, and two counts of misdemeanor sexual battery.
Deputies said tenants at a Mathews County apartment made multiple complaints about a maintenance worker who was illegally entering apartments. He allegedly made sexual advances and groped women over the course of several months.
Gwynn has since been released on a $3,000 secured bond.
