Update: Missing James City County man found safe

JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. — UPDATE: Police said Jonathan Wright was located safely around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday. The James City County Police Department thanked the public for raising awareness and helping to find Wright.

Police in James City County are looking for a man who was last seen nearly three weeks ago and is considered missing and endangered.

The James City County Police Department said 36-year-old Jonathan Wright went for a walk on Centerville Road, heading toward Richmond Road, on the morning of May 9. He was reported missing two days later.

Police said Wright may need medical care for an existing condition.

Wright is described as being 6 feet tall and weighing 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green shirt and blue jeans and is not believed to have a cell phone or other communication device.
