GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. — A man died following a single-vehicle crash in Gloucester County on Sunday morning, according to Virginia State Police (VSP).
It happened in the northbound lanes of Route 17 near the intersection of Woods Cross Road at around 9:15 a.m. Investigators said a 2014 Honda Civic was driving north when it went off the road and struck a tree and a ditch in the median.
The driver, 43-year-old Bradley Perkins of Gloucester, died at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
