GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. — One person was taken to a hospital after their trailer in the Hayes area of Gloucester County caught on fire on Friday morning.
The Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue said firefighters and medics responded to the trailer around 3:15 a.m. and arrived minutes later.
According to officials, the fire was quickly knocked down. The fire was confined to the middle of the trailer, but there was extensive water and smoke damage throughout.
Officials didn't share the condition of the person taken to the hospital.
