FRANKLIN, Va. — Franklin police say a missing toddler has been found and is back with his family.
1-year-old Braxton Pera was last seen around 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in the Woodland Drive section of Franklin. Police say he is wearing a long-sleeve green and blue shirt, with just a diaper and rubber camouflage boots on.
Shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday, Franklin Police said Braxton had been found safe. Franklin Police thanked Suffolk Police, Virginia State Police, the Southampton County Sheriff's Office, Franklin Fire and Rescue, and the many citizens who called and volunteered to assist in the search.
Police did not say where the boy might have gone while he was missing.
