NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Norfolk Fire Rescue responded to two house fires early Friday morning.
The first call came in around 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of W. 28th Street.
Upon arrival, firefighters were able to locate where the fire was and extinguish it. No one was in the home at the time the fire happened and there were no injuries.
The second fire happened shortly after the first one around 2:00 a.m. in the 8200 block of Briarwood Circle.
The house was unoccupied and no one was injured in that fire either. Dominion Energy was called because of a downed power line.
The Fire Marshal's Office is still investigating the cause of both incidents.
