Virginia State Police are searching for a missing Albemarle County woman who was last seen Wednesday around 12:40 a.m., walking on Buck Ridge Road.
The woman identified by police as 78-year-old, Gwen Basham Baber, is about 4'11, weighs around 100 pounds, and has gray hair and gray eyes.
The missing senior suffers from a cognitive impairment and the disappearance poses a risk to her safety, according to the investigating agency.
She was last seen wearing black rubber boots with flowers on them. If you have seen Baber or have any information on her whereabouts, call the police.
