Anyone age 9 and older is eligible to get vaccinated. This clinic is part of Riverside Health's initiative to give everyone easy access to protection against the flu before the peak of the season arrives.

"Flu season is right around the corner, and getting your flu shot is a crucial step in protecting yourself, your loved ones and the community," says Tom Kayrouz, M.D., Chief Clinical Operations Officer. "Getting vaccinated early also helps you maximize your protection before the flu season peaks reducing the risk of severe illness."

Both drive-thru and walk-in clinics will be available over the next two weeks:

  • Wednesday, Sept 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Drive-thru clinic at Sherwood Shopping Center in Newport News.
  • Wednesday, Oct 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Drive-thru clinic at Riverside Wellness and Fitness Center in Newport News.
