ODU hosts open house at student recreation center

Members of the community are invited to explore fitness options and even start a week long free trial at the open house event.

NORFOLK, Va. — When it comes to New Year's resolutions, health and wellness are at the top of most people's lists. Old Dominion University wants to help you get started on reaching your fitness goals. 

The ODU Student Recreation Center is opening its doors to university faculty and staff, alumni, and the community. The ODU SRC is hosting an open house on Friday, January 12. 

The open house includes a tour of the rec center, free 30-minute fitness classes, and an opportunity to talk to the team about becoming a member. To try one of the fitness classes you must register here before attending. 

In addition to gym equipment, facilities, and a rock climbing wall, the membership also includes fitness classes, personal training, swim lessons, and more. 

If you like what you see at the open house, you can try a 7-day free trial membership. The offer lasts from now until February 29.
