We opened our doors a little more than 5 years ago and have since become one of the fastest growing home health care agencies in the State of Virginia. With over 20 years of experience caring for the elderly and individuals with special needs, the company’s founder recognized there was a strong need in the Virginia area to provide home health care assistance to a population that has long been underserved and overlooked. Briggs Home Health Agency strives to provide the best possible service by hiring caring, hard-working, loving individuals who have the same passion, desire and understanding as its owners.

Briggs Home Health Agency offers a variety of services, including: bathing, grooming, laundry services, light housekeeping, meal preparations, grocery shopping, help keep medical appointments, medication reminder, take vital signs and much more.

We currently accept Medicaid Payments and Self-Pay.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: If I transfer to your company, will my hours of care remain the same?
A: The number of hours of care is dependent upon the Registered Nurse’s evaluation of your condition. However, until approved by KEPRO, clients will receive 25 hours per week unless there is a medical or urgent need for more hours.

Q: If I transfer to your company, can I bring my aide with me?
A: Yes! However, the aide must be certified and interviewed within 24 to 48 hours.

Q: Can a family member provide services to a client?
A: Yes! However, family members are not allowed to work respite hours if they live with the patient.

Q: Why does it take so long for a nurse to return after the initial visit?
A: Medicaid regulations state, after the initial visit the nurse is required to return for an assessment every 30, 60, or 90 days. The nurse may return before the stated time frame upon patient request.

Q: Can your agency assist with ordering medical equipment and /or supplies?
A: Yes! There are several companies that we order from.

Q: Are you Insured, Licensed, and Bonded?
