HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) — A man wanted for a maiming investigation that sparked in October has been arrested.
On November 28, 27-year-old Antonio Deron Futrell was arrested by the Virginia Beach Fugitive and Warrant Apprehension Unit and the Hampton Police Division.
Futrell was wanted for shooting inside a catch and release restaurant located in the 1st Block of Towne Center Way. He had an argument with a security guard outside of the business.
Futrell got his gun from his car and began firing toward the business, and the security guard returned fired.
Before Hampton Police Officers arrived, Futrell was able to get away. There were no injuries reported, however, two businesses sustained damage as a result of this incident.
The North Carolina man has been charged with four counts of Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling, three counts of Attempt Malicious Wounding, three counts of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
