NORFOLK, Va. — The Salvation Army kicked off its back-to-school initiative on Tuesday.
Chick-fil-A partnered with the Salvation Army to host a supply drive at Broad Creek Crossing from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Everyone who donated supplies or money received a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich or chicken nuggets.
The Salvation Army will also be hosting Backpack Distribution Days on August 9 and 10, where it will distribute backpacks filled with school supplies to local K-12 students in need at the Hampton Roads Kroc Center at 1401 Ballentine Blvd.
