Norfolk triple shooting leads to Chesapeake woman's death, police say

Officers responded to the 2700 block of Corpew Avenue for a report of multiple gunshot victims earlier this week. One victim has now died.

NORFOLK, Va. — Earlier in the week a triple shooting left a woman in serious condition and two other men with non-serious injuries. Norfolk police say the woman died on Saturday and are continuing investigations.

Police say they responded to the 2700 block of Corpew Avenue for a report of multiple gunshot victims around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. When officers arrived they found a woman and two men with gunshot injuries.

43-year-old Katrina Wade of Chesapeake was taken to the hospital, but later died from her injuries on Saturday, officials say.

The two male victims, a 43 and 24-year-old, were also taken to the hospital and received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have not released any information about what may have led to the shooting or possible suspects at this time.
