NORFOLK, Va. — One person is detained following an overnight shooting that left a woman dead in Norfolk, authorities said Saturday.
Shortly before 2:30 a.m., the Norfolk Police Department (NPD) responded to East Little Creek and Meadow Creek roads for a reported shooting. There, officers found a woman deceased.
Police have identified the victim as 28-year-old Katrina Anderson.
Police have charged Nildaliz A. Flores-Roman with second-degree murder and use of a firearm.
Flores-Roman is currently being held without bond at the Norfolk City Jail.
The identity of the victim has not been released. The investigation is still ongoing.
