VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- A woman accused of stabbing a man in Virginia Beach Tuesday has turned herself in to police.
Police were called to the 3600 block of Atlantic Ave. just before 3 p.m.
Nicole Scott, 30, allegedly stabbed the man in the torso with an unknown weapon.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
According to police, Scott and the victim knew each other prior to the altercation. Police, however, would not expand further on the nature of the relationship.
Scott is charged with felonious assault and assault and battery of a family member.
She is being held in the Virginia Beach City Jail on no bond.
