NORFOLK, Va. — A woman was arrested on Saturday in connection to a deadly stabbing that happened earlier this year.
Norfolk police say that a 45-year-old woman has been arrested and charged after a stabbing in early January left a man dead.
On January 8, around 10:50 p.m., Norfolk police officers were called to 871 N Military Highway for a report of an injured person.
When officers arrived they learned a man had a life-threatening stab wound. 57-year-old Clarence Jefferson was taken to the hospital. He later died from his injuries.
After investigating, detectives charged 45-year-old Shantika Davis with first-degree murder. She was arrested in Virginia Beach on Monday.
Davis is being held at Norfolk City Jail without bond.
