VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Police have now identified the victim injured in a Virginia Beach shooting last week as a child and say they've arrested a suspect in the case.
On Monday Virginia Beach Police (VBPD) said that when they arrived at the scene in the 5800 block of West Hastings ARch on the evening of November 10, officers found a 15-year-old Virginia Beach boy with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Police say they identified another Virginia Beach 15-year-old as the suspect in the shooting. He was arrested and charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
