Virginia Beach burglary suspect facing several felony charges

The 56-year-old suspect is accused of three separate burglaries that happened in March and May.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A 56-year-old man accused of three separate burglaries across Virginia Beach is facing a slew of felony charges, police announced Wednesday.

Kenneth Pride Jr. was arrested on Friday, June 7. He was subsequently booked into the Virginia Beach Correctional Center on the following charges: 14 felony counts of entering a building at night with intent to commit larceny, three felony counts of possession of burglarious tools, one felony count of credit card larceny, one felony count of monument damage greater than $1000 and three misdemeanor counts of petit larceny.

The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) said the first burglary Pride is accused of happened in the area of Viking Drive and Guardian Lane on March 15. The other burglaries were reported on Independence Circle on May 6 and South Lynnhaven Road on May 29.

No other information was immediately released.
