ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — Police in Elizabeth City said they arrested a teenager with an AR-15 rifle outside of a fast food restaurant on Wednesday.
Officers said they responded to a report of a person with a hoodie and face mask, holding what appeared to be a rifle near the Cookout on Eringhaus Street.
Police arrested 18-year-old Kohl Farr, alleging he had the rifle in his waistband.
Farr is charged with "going armed to the terror of the public" and carrying a concealed weapon. He is currently being held without bond and is due in court on Thursday morning.
