HAMPTON, Va. — Police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday night in Hampton.
According to Hampton Police Department, officers were called to the 1st block of Butler Drive around 9:36 p.m. They arrived to find a 38-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital by Hampton Fire and Rescue.
After a preliminary investigation, officials say the man was getting out of his car when unknown suspects started to shoot at him.
There's no information about what led to the shooting or if any suspects are in custody.
