A man who was shot near Regent University in Virginia Beach is expected to survive, police said.
According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, the shooting happened in the 1100 block of Riviera Drive around 5 p.m. Friday, March 10.
The victim, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
On Thursday, police said 20-year-old Tyreke McClary was arrested on charges of felony aggravated malicious wounding and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
