SUFFOLK, Va. — A woman was injured in a shooting in Suffolk Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting happened in the 2200 block of East Washington Street, and was reported to dispatchers around 1 p.m., the Suffolk Police Department said.
Police responded and found several shell casings that had been used. Before getting there, the victim went to a hospital to be treated for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
Police didn't share any information about what led to the shooting or any possible suspects.
