VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Virginia Beach police have arrested a suspect in connection to a deadly triple shooting that happened in December.
37-year-old Marquise Bunn of Portsmouth was arrested on Jan. 8, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department. He was apprehended on an outstanding warrant for a felon in possession of a firearm concerning the shooting that happened in late December in the 800 block of Riverbend Road.
Police updated that one of the two victims who survived the shooting remains in critical condition and that their investigations revealed that a "confrontation among partygoers" escalated into violent gunfire.
Along with the possession of a firearm charge, Bunn also faces charges of second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
