HAMPTON, Va. — A Portsmouth man is in custody after fleeing from state police and crashing into a Hampton home early Thursday, Virginia State Police (VSP) said.

According to VSP, around 1 a.m. a trooper initiated a traffic stop on a Chevrolet sedan going north on I-664 near the 1-mile marker in Chesapeake.
