Police are seeking answers after shots were fired late Wednesday night in Hampton.
The Hampton Police Division said it received a call around 11:52 p.m. about a shooting that happened in the 400 block of Chapel Street.
When officers arrived, they found 35-year-old Megan Banks who had been shot. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Officers have not released any other details at this time, as the incident is currently under investigation.
The initial investigation revealed Banks had been involved in some kind of a fight inside a home when she was shot.
Police are still investigating the motive and circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting. They said they have identified everyone involved and are not looking for any suspects.
