VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A police pursuit spanned across two cities on Thursday evening.
Just before 7:00 p.m., investigators noticed a stolen vehicle near 200 W. Princess Anne Road in Norfolk. They tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to pull over.
The officers continued pursuing the vehicle until it came to a stop on the I-264 East Witchduck Road exit and ran. After a short chase, the driver was taken into custody at 7:05 p.m.
After the pursuit came to an end, police arrested and charged 23-year-old Kimahni Lankford of Norfolk.
Lankford is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond. No injuries have been reported.
