Police arrest suspect in Hampton teen's death

Zuri Anthony Reeves, 18, was charged with murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Police say the man who killed an 18-year-old Hampton man Sunday night in Hampton turned himself in.

Police say 18-year-old Zuri Anthony Reeves shot Kare Stallings, who was found behind the Y. H. Thomas Community Center on Thomas Street around 8:30 p.m. Stallings, who had been shot several times, died at the hospital.

Reeves was charged with one count each of murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Investigators say the two knew each other but a motive for the shooting wasn't released.
