VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A man was killed in a shooting in Virginia Beach early Tuesday morning, police said.
The shooting happened in the 700 block of Match Point Drive, which is near the intersection of Holland Road and South Plaza Trail.
The Virginia Beach Police Department said officers responded shortly after 1 a.m. Medics pronounced the person dead at the scene.
Police didn't share any suspect information. On Thursday, police identified the victim as Darnell Coleman, a 20-year-old man from Portsmouth.
