Ongoing search for person of interest in Portsmouth robbery

The Portsmouth Police Department is asking the public for help identifying a man who stole money and tobacco products on Wednesday.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Portsmouth police are requesting the public's help in identifying a person of interest in a robbery on Wednesday.

According to police, a man between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds was seen entering the ZT Vape and Tobacco store on Victory Boulevard. 

The man implied he had a gun and took an undisclosed amount of money and some tobacco products before he fled on foot.

Portsmouth Police said he was last seen wearing a pair of black pants, a black hoodie and white slides with a black Philadelphia Eagles mask.
