NORTHAMPTON, Va. — A Northampton deputy was fired for sex crimes on Tuesday, the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to officials, Deputy Hector Luis Rosa, Jr. was charged with object sexual penetration, abduction and sexual battery.
On April 5, allegations against Rosa were received by the Sheriff's Office. He was immediately placed on leave and the Virginia State Police conducted the investigation.
Rosa was indicted on July 8. He was released on bond.
