NORFOLK, Va. — A man was seriously hurt and later died after he was shot in Norfolk on Tuesday afternoon.
The Norfolk Police Department said the victim, 36-year-old Kerry White of Norfolk, was shot in the 500 block of Walker Avenue near Rockingham Street just before 12:45 p.m.
Medics rushed the man to the hospital, but police say he later died from his injuries.
There's no word at this time on any possible suspects or what may have led up to the shooting.
