NORFOLK, Va. — A man is dead after a shooting at Community Beach Park Wednesday evening.
Norfolk police responded to a call about a shooting in the 700 block of E Ocean View Ave around 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday.
When officers arrived, dispatchers told them a 20-year-old man, Andrew F. Saafi, arrived at a local hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound. Saafi later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.
According to detectives, the two incidents are related.
