NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) -- Four people were arrested Thursday night after a man who was shot Monday night died.
On April 23 at 9:40 p.m., police were sent to the 800 block of 35th Street in reference to a gunshot disturbance. Once on the scene, officers found 38-year-old Lawrence Rondell Williams suffering from a gunshot wound.
Williams was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries. On Wednesday, he died at the hospital.
As a result of the investigation, 4 people have been arrested and charged with 2nd-degree murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, attempted robbery as well as firearms-related charges.
Police arrested 19-year-old Charles Poff Jr., Trevon Myricks, 25, Jessie Kirby Jr., 18, and one juvenile.
