NORFOLK, Va. — A Norfolk man with a previous criminal history of drug trafficking was sentenced Thursday to 14 years in prison for additional trafficking-related offenses, federal prosecutors said.

Court documents show that between May 2022 and October 2022, Homeland Security Investigators and the Norfolk Police Department used a confidential informant (CI) to help conduct six controlled purchases of methamphetamine and cocaine from 50-year-old Lashawn D. Pullie, as well as a co-conspirator.

The Department of Justice said that during the investigation, Pullie sold the CI over 300 grams of methamphetamine and over 400 grams of cocaine. A search warrant executed on October 13, 2022, turned up approximately 300 grams of marijuana, 1,446 grams of cocaine, 393 grams of methamphetamine, 184 oxycodone pills, $7,674, and two loaded guns.

Pullie was convicted and sentenced to 14 years on charges of distribution of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
