NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A man is facing charges, accused of stabbing another man in the Huntington area of Newport News.
Newport News police said it happened before 11 p.m. in the 4000 block of Newsome Drive, off of 41st Street. The stabbing victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Police said the suspect, Kenneth Young, was still on scene when officers arrived. He was taken into custody and charged with malicious wounding.
Investigators have not said what led to the stabbing, but did say Young and the victim knew each other.
