GLOUCESTER, Va. — Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office announced on Friday that they conducted a mass arrest throughout the county regarding the distribution of narcotics and other related offenses.
The arrests were the culmination of an investigation that has spanned over the course of a year.
The Tri-Rivers Drug Task Force, a multi-jurisdictional task force, also helped with the arrests.
The task force consists of representatives from the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, Mathews County Sheriff’s Office, Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office, Poquoson Police Department, Williamsburg Police Department, James City County Police Department, York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, and the Virginia State Police.
The following people have been arrested:
- George Michael Adams, 52, from Gloucester: 3 counts Distribution of Schedule II (Methamphetamine), Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II (Methamphetamine) He was released on $1000 Secured Bond.
- Alexander Christopher Blenaru, 22, from Saluda: Distribution of Schedule II – Imitation (Cocaine), no bond was given.
- Rasean Collique Curry, 24, from Gloucester: Distribution of Schedule II (Cocaine), no bond was given.
- Karie Ann Garner, 43, Gloucester: 3 counts of Distribution of Schedule I (Heroin) – 3 Counts: Released on Own Recognizance
- Jill Elizabeth Hockaday, 53, from Gloucester: 2 two of Distribution of Schedule II (Oxycodone), Distribution of Schedule II (Morphine), Released on Own Recognizance
- Devonte Tovon Maurice Jackson, 27, from Topping, Va.: 6 counts Distribution of Schedule II (Cocaine): Released on Own Recognizance
- Amber Michele Pauley, 37, from Gloucester: Distribution of Schedule I (Heroin), Distribution of Schedule II (Oxycodone), Release on Own Recognizance
- Cassie Leigh Verlander, 35, from Hampton: 3 counts Distribution of Schedule I (Heroin), 3 Counts of Distribution of Schedule II (Cocaine): No Bond
- Harley Remington Miller, 19, from Gloucester: Possession of Schedule I (MDMA): Release on Recognizance
The Sheriff's Office said there are still currently two fugitives related to this sweep. If anyone has any information about the fugitives' whereabouts they are asked to contact the Sheriff's Office's at 804-693-3890 or the Crime Lines at 1-888-LOCK U UP. The information which leads to an arrest could make the tipster eligible for a cash award of up to $1,000.

- Jesse Joe Joyce III, 29, from Gloucester: Distribution of Schedule I (Heroin), 3 counts Distribution of Schedule II (Amphetamine)
