SUFFOLK, Va. — A man is in the hospital after being shot in the legs in Suffolk Friday night, authorities announced.
The shooting happened near the intersection of East Washington Street and South Lloyd Street at around 10:45 p.m., according to the Suffolk Police Department (SPD).
Responding officers found a man who had been shot in both legs. Police said he was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
There's no word on any suspect information or the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
