SUFFOLK, Va. — An overnight shooting in Suffolk sent one person to a hospital, authorities said Wednesday.
When Suffolk police responded to Pitchkettle Road off West Washington Street at around 1:24 a.m., officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim received treatment at the scene before Suffolk Fire & Rescue took him to a hospital for further care. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The Suffolk Police Department has not released any information regarding a suspect or possible motive.
