PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man shot in Portsmouth late Sunday morning was rushed to a hospital, officials said.
Portsmouth police learned of the shooting on Woodmill Court near Towne Point Road shortly after 11 a.m.
At the scene, officers found a man who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital for further treatment but is expected to survive.
No suspect information was released.
