NORFOLK, Va. — An investigation is underway following a deadly shooting in Norfolk Saturday night.
The Norfolk Police Department (NPD) shared online that officers were alerted to the incident on Bonnot Drive near North Military Highway at around 9:35 p.m.
Upon arriving, officers found a man shot. The victim, later identified as 22-year-old Robert Nixon, was pronounced dead at the scene, NPD said.
No information about the circumstances leading up to the shooting or potential suspects has been released at this time.
