NORFOLK, Va. — A man was hurt in a shooting in Norfolk Thursday evening, police said.
The shooting happened in the 2000 block of Lafayette Boulevard. Police responded around 6 p.m. for a reported gunshot victim.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries that weren't considered life-threatening. He is expected to recover.
The Norfolk Police Department didn't specify what led to the shooting or share any information about possible suspects.
