PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man is hurt after a shooting in Portsmouth Wednesday afternoon.
The Portsmouth Police Department said it happened in the 300 block of West Road, right by the Elizabeth River, just after 3:30 p.m.
A man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
